These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of wombathome.com.au (the Site) and any purchases you make from Wombat Home (we, us, our). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us
Wombat Home is a business based in Australia that sells compressed sofas. You can contact us at admin@wombathome.com.au.
2. Products and pricing
All prices on the Site are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may update prices and product details at any time. Stock is limited and orders are accepted subject to availability.
We make every effort to display product images and descriptions accurately, but actual products may vary slightly in colour, texture, and finish.
3. Orders
When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase the products at the prices and on the conditions shown at checkout. Your order is only accepted when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including where:
- the product is no longer available;
- there has been a pricing or product description error;
- we suspect fraud or unauthorised use of payment details; or
- we are unable to deliver to your address.
If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund you in full.
4. Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe. By submitting payment details, you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge the full amount for your order. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
5. Delivery
We currently deliver within Australia. Estimated dispatch and delivery times are shown at checkout but are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provide. If the parcel arrives visibly damaged, please contact us within 7 days.
6. Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the products repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights or remedies you have under the ACL or other applicable consumer protection law.
7. Returns and refunds

8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to your rights under the ACL, our liability for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with your use of the Site or our products is limited to (at our option) the resupply of the products or the cost of having the products resupplied.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss (including loss of profits, data, or opportunity), even if we knew such loss was possible.
9. Privacy
We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, and product photography — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or otherwise use any of this content without our written permission.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when published on the Site. The Terms in force at the time you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
